Root For The Villain
With this project the goal was to create very iconic imagery that can be used in different mediums and can stand the test of time. We started out with a military design we have previous completed, stripped it of most of its detail and filled it with a single color. Next we focused on symbols that everyone is familiar with( star and Square) and finished it with the offsetting of the design inside of the square. For the advertising of this project we played with the anti-pop popular notion of going with the underdog or the villain with our "Root For The Villain" slogan.
With this project art imitates life, inspired by a failed relationship filled with deception and followed by a sudden end. The one image burned in the mind was that last look given, that cold stare. In translating the feeling of a dark cloud that comes along with a bad breakup, (and the not so subtle messages written on the faces of those involved) we present to you
The contribution of Vandals
In an effort to further expand the brand presence we come across the design we have named "Lucky". The thought process in creating this design is based in street art and the freedoms that follow it. Although the law of the land does not recognize street art as a valid form of expression, we believe it is the voice of the unbiased voiceless, a natural progression in the aging of structures and culture. One do not vilify moss for growing on stone or birds for contributing their "Art" on statues. By blending the two mediums we arrive at the completion of "Lucky".
(We Are Rebellious)
To Throw Rocks at Tanks
Here at Addictive Kaos we encourage each other to seek inspiration from both ends of the spectrum, from our internal emotions to our external experiences. This piece was inspired by the different revolutionary movements springing up all over the world. This faceless generation will be know as the rebellious one.
This is our attempt to put a face and at the same time no face at all.
Death of the fanged one
Here at Addictive Kaos LLC the workshop has been buzzing about the dead vamp concept. It started out as an idea for a mascot for a school that came in to play in a discussion about a graphic novel we have been working on. Once the idea was brought in to fruition we saw the potential it has for other products, these are some of the products.
With this design we attempted to intertwine the the two taboos of sex and vampirism, in this fun an naughty expression via T-shirt we believe the goal has been achieve.
The Zombie print
Here at Addictive Kaos LLC we love zombies, so for this print we work on a realistic illustration of a zombies on the hunt.
